Brutality victims: How a splendid weekend turned ugly

How a peaceful rally becomes a wide spread rumoured violent rioting rally.

These are interviews the Bersih organizers had with the victims of innocent bystanders in the Bersih 3.0 rally yesterday. What shocks me is that, why is the police still gathering their forces and whacking innocent people even till as late as 7pm?! What is the racial and racism critics they throw at the people that are being caught? "Babi Cina, balik China la lu" (translated : bloody chinese pig, go back to China!) was one of the racist remarks made by the police when the people are brought into the detention centres.

Then I want to point out...... are the Malays really originating from Malaysia itself? Even here, from what I have learnt and listen from the Europe history, sorry if I quoted wrongly - especially on the location, Malays actually originated from Borneo not Malaysia.

In this time and day nowadays, can you really say that everyone is where they are?
Why is the government such a failure in controlling their police force, and then using the major newspapers like The Star and those governmental media to quote and show the ugly side of the things without investigating? No wonder Senator Xenophon from Australia said that the media and such are bias....... and .... as per his quote : "I watch television news and only saw 30 secs of the coverage to the demonstration, with no word about it being one of the largest demonstrations in Malaysian´s history. Instead, they spend more time saying (premier) Najib Abdul Razak having a tea and eating banana fritters in Sabah", which he quoted during a press conference today.

The media in Malaysia, be it government - The Star, Utusan etc, or the independent ones - ie : Malaysiakini, Malaysian insider should not react so biasly. Media is to show and report the truth. Not being bribed to write what the government want the people to see.

It´s sad really to see the news in The Star online - I am a frequent reader of the Star Online and also many other news online - including the international sites, being extremely critical and only reporting all the ironic saying that Bersih 3.0 must be held responsible, Bersih 3.0 lost control etc. What about the police brutality? What about the unwanted captures of innocent people? What about the police stating that Yellow is a forbidden (and as per quote by one of the victims in the video : illegal) color shirt / cloth to wear in Malaysia?

Come on people! Use your brains and start thinking and writing the right stuff!
