Ok..... so 19th May....
I am officially now 29 years old!
My first birthday far away from home and having my daughter by my side is indeed the most beautiful gift I can ever have!
Spent the day touring Berlin and this time, our destination was the Berlin Zoo and Aquarium situated at Budapester Straße 32 in Berlin Germany. The zoo is humongous and with quite many vast animals that I nor Amelia have ever seen even at the Singapore Zoo that we went like 2 years ago! But the most important thing about it all was that the environment of the zoo is so natural, and no cages like what we see back home at Zoo Negara and it´s even wider and bigger than the one in Singapore. Natural habitats thats what the animals were in.....
But the most amazing thing, was that the Zoo is clean and looking "new"....... the people that visited the zoo actually know how to preserve and take care of the zoo... unlike the people who visits Zoo Negara back home in Malaysia..... must be the upbringing huh?
People here never even put a single piece of rubbish on the floor... but back home, its kinda like vice versa xD
Anyways........ The outing was good. The whole day was spent at the zoo...... we didn´t even managed to get a birthday cake cos by the time we are home, Amelia was completely zonked out! xD
The day was good, the surprise was even more greater! :D

Happy Mother´s Day
Here´s wishing a very "belated" Happy Mother´s Day to all the wonderful mothers out there.... including my wonderful mum who is like 10,000 km away from me at the moment!
I hope your Mother´s Day was indeed a special event that was celebrated with your loved ones, children and husband... :)
We had our very own special mother´s day celebration by touring Alexanderplatz and then enjoying the cold cold water at the fountain for the day...... was indeed a memorable event and my daughter finally overcome her fear of the water, and even enjoyed playing in the water together with the little children.... *so long as they don´t splash water on her face or she doesn´t fall down*
It´s a good start...... that she overcome this fear... eventually I probably might even be able to teach her swimming!! :D

The sunny blue skies
It's wonderful having this much time out with my daughter.
As I lie down on the grass in the midst of the park watching my daughter plucking wild flowers and other people all around the park lying around, having picnics or playing ball / frisbee, I can't help but wonder..... How is it we don't have so much natural parks with woods and wildlife back home? How is it people back in Malaysia only have time for work and social but never for the ones they love or their families?
What are we missing out on?
Money isn't the greatest thing. People here in Germany need them too... To survive. But... Why would they have the time to spare for their wives and kids and we Asians don't?
I'm envious.... Watching families in whole take the time to spend with each other in the parks. Why cant Amelia have that too?
I love my baby girl alot... And am willing to give her everything for a better life. But this is one part I fail, since long ago. *sighs*
Is it too much to ask for?
