Malaysia cracks down on protesters

why do the authorities have to "fire" and shoot first? It´s so obvious from the videos.... the ones that started the fight isn´t the people in the rally.. but the police that were there... is this how the government is working at the moment???

Are the people in the government actually hiding behind violence nowadays to resolve things?

Upon watching this youtube.... I feel completely sadden..... the few scenes here that showed up...... it was the police that fired the shots of the tear gases at the citizens first.... it was the police that was roughly handling the citizens at the rally.... Was the police there for protection or for stirring up more problems on the streets of those demonstrations?

Terrible Exams Questions

Terrible Exams Questions - Are the teachers qualified?

Today, as I was reading the Malaysian Newspaper, The Star Online, before turning in to bed.... I found a very interesting article that I just can´t help but wanna share......

It´s an email written by a concern brother to The Star Newspaper regarding the "mistakes" of teachers in his younger brother´s school... I´d say more of stupidity...... but then again, politeness is good I guess ^^

Now I am curious.......

Seriously, after reading the article, I won´t stop laughing... to see how stupid teachers in Malaysia are! It´s only Year 2 and the English is the most simplest.... but yet, as a teacher... not even able to write a simple English phrase...... without such an error! How can parents then trust the teachers to groom their children into a better person when the teachers themselves speak such broken languages? Why is the government not taking drastic actions on improving the teachers´standards? Do they really want the country to be a serious laughing stock in the eyes of the world?

Is sex the only happy factor in a marriage?

Is Sex the Only Happy Factor in a Marriage?
A Happy Man, A Happy Home

A very interesting topic once again, I found, from The Star Online website....... First it was the news that a club known as the "Obedient Wives Club" has been founded in Malaysia to better and further educate the women folk on how to keep their men tied to them... and then now these distressing newspaper ads......

Being 10,000km away from home (aka Malaysia)..... I somehow can´t help but keep in touch with the news over there... especially when everyone seems to be sharing such "wonderful" news via facebook.......

    Makes me curious.....

How obedient do people in Malaysia wants the women folks to be? Is every man who hits or rapes or abuses a woman because of not having a good and caring wife? Have anyone come to the conclusion that the man himself probably grew up in an abusive environment? Or that.... he turned pervert and not because of the woman´s fault?

So is it the woman´s fault also when the man has roving eyes when he sees another woman walking by and his wife sitting directly beside him?

This is not about the wife not being caring and loving or even always misunderstanding her man.... it´s also about the man not being "responsible" over his own actions. It always takes two hands to clap... with one hand, you can´t clap nor make a sound out of it. It´s the same with relationships. So.... I would like to ask then..... what´s the point of being a 101% loving and caring wife when the husband doesn´t even know how to appreciate it and just feels that.... "its not enough"?

Have you ever seen a woman who gave up completely everything of her own, just because of her love for her husband? Only to be blamed later that she doesn´t trust him and care for him?

    June 2011

    Another brand new month started.....

With it, starts my daughter´s kindergarden.

My beautiful growing daughter started school on the 1st of June 2011, Wednesday. It was a nice cold windy day for a starting of school. She woke up easily, and is still waking up quite easily for school (prays it lasts long ;)), and prepared for school very promptly. The glow and joy in her eyes was extremely unbuyable... even until today, her 2nd week in school, she is still glowing with happiness whenever it´s time for school......

Anyway, as school has started for her, so it has also started for me....... we now have such a strange schedule, I am still trying to keep myself in it..... after having so long "break" from work and studying.........

Going to school together in the morning with my daughter is indeed great..... we wake up together, have some short time together, before I walk her to school.... she has breakfast in school, together with lunch *yummy*........  leaving me a slight hour break before picking her up from her kindergarten... :)

My daughter is growing older... *sighs*

    Can´t I keep her a baby forever? :-x :)

    My 29th Birthday Celebration

    Ok..... so 19th May....

I am officially now 29 years old!

My first birthday far away from home and having my daughter by my side is indeed the most beautiful gift I can ever have!

Spent the day touring Berlin and this time, our destination was the Berlin Zoo and Aquarium situated at Budapester Straße 32 in Berlin Germany. The zoo is humongous and with quite many vast animals that I nor Amelia have ever seen even at the Singapore Zoo that we went like 2 years ago! But the most important thing about it all was that the environment of the zoo is so natural, and no cages like what we see back home at Zoo Negara and it´s even wider and bigger than the one in Singapore. Natural habitats thats what the animals were in.....

But the most amazing thing, was that the Zoo is clean and looking "new"....... the people that visited the zoo actually know how to preserve and take care of the zoo... unlike the people who visits Zoo Negara back home in Malaysia..... must be the upbringing huh?

People here never even put a single piece of rubbish on the floor... but back home, its kinda like vice versa xD

Anyways........ The outing was good. The whole day was spent at the zoo...... we didn´t even managed to get a birthday cake cos by the time we are home, Amelia was completely zonked out! xD

The day was good, the surprise was even more greater! :D

    Happy Mother´s Day

Here´s wishing a very "belated" Happy Mother´s Day to all the wonderful mothers out there.... including my wonderful mum who is like 10,000 km away from me at the moment!

I hope your Mother´s Day was indeed a special event that was celebrated with your loved ones, children and husband... :)

We had our very own special mother´s day celebration by touring Alexanderplatz and then enjoying the cold cold water at the fountain for the day...... was indeed a memorable event and my daughter finally overcome her fear of the water, and even enjoyed playing in the water together with the little children.... *so long as they don´t splash water on her face or she doesn´t fall down*

It´s a good start...... that she overcome this fear... eventually I probably might even be able to teach her swimming!! :D

    The sunny blue skies

It's wonderful having this much time out with my daughter.

As I lie down on the grass in the midst of the park watching my daughter plucking wild flowers and other people all around the park lying around, having picnics or playing ball / frisbee, I can't help but wonder..... How is it we don't have so much natural parks with woods and wildlife back home? How is it people back in Malaysia only have time for work and social but never for the ones they love or their families?

What are we missing out on?

Money isn't the greatest thing. People here in Germany need them too... To survive. But... Why would they have the time to spare for their wives and kids and we Asians don't?

I'm envious.... Watching families in whole take the time to spend with each other in the parks. Why cant Amelia have that too?

I love my baby girl alot... And am willing to give her everything for a better life. But this is one part I fail, since long ago. *sighs*

Is it too much to ask for?

    The Royal Wedding Commences

    29th April 2011.....

The day has arrived... and today is the royal wedding..... the Royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton. Thankfully, the weather was bright and sunny and perfect for a wedding!!! :D

Amazing how many people take the opportunity to just travel all the way to London to see this wedding in person...... but then again, somehow I guess it would boosts UK´s economy more *grins*

Prince William and Catherine Middleton say their vows

You can actually find the whole wedding live, from the arrival of the guests since 8am in the morning till now when the newly weds exchange their vows from the TV, to the internet to live streams online!

Kate Middleton looks extremely stunning in her self designed wedding gown, although I have to admit that she does look kinda thinner than the many months I have seen her pics online and such.... maybe she is overstressed from preparing for the wedding that she lost many many many kgs... :-x

The internet is congested at the moment. Video streams are kinda laggy.... and most funnily... I am watching the wedding translated into german on TV as the video streams crack down online -.-

But you can still watch it if you want.... at The Royal Channel where you can watch it in youtube quality, thanks to Denise for linking it into facebook...... it was definitely much better quality in picture wise and sound wise compared to the one I found via searching in Google.....

And now... back to the TV to watch the remaining of the wedding......

ps : Prince William ain´t looking as adorable and handsome as when I first "crush" on him when we were little kids... *ROFL*
