The Remarkable wonders of Spring

Ahhh... the remarkable wonder of nature!

I still am so amazed and astounded with the beauty of mother nature.... I always thought mother nature was beautiful... but never have I known that it would be this extremely beautiful!

Watching the flowers and the trees starting to bloom and catching some of these fascinating shots on camera, am being absolutely lucky to be able to do so also!

With the coming of spring, one would also think that the weather would be extremely good and sunny..... but.... alright alright... we have the sun..... sometimes the sun is shining ever so brightly in the sky that you´d think you´d get scorched by it! But... the cold gentle breeze blows by and keeps you nice and cool while the sun shines ever so warmly on the skin!

And most amazingly, living in an apartment gives us the privileges of looking out our window and just watching the trees at the opposite road or somewhere further away blooming ever so greenly!

With all the colors in spring, everyone around is busy planting flowers and busy buying potted and flowery plants to plant either in their gardens or into flower pots to place it on the balcony........ Myself.... I have been very interested in starting a small gardening place, although unluckily at the moment our house doesn´t come with a balcony..... At least I would feel safer knowing baby isn´t stuck at the balcony or so ^^

But there are many advantages of having a balcony... one of it is... doing laundry at home is much simpler as we can hang our clothes up on the balcony..... at the moment, hanging it inside the house or.... over the heater to dry is so not convenient... *lolx*

Don´t get me wrong.. I am happy to have a home of our own... a place that is solely ours... no other people´s influence... no parents or in laws to interfere like back then.... Design or decide or what to do with our own home on ourselves without anyone saying what is good or what is bad.... Sometimes I wish that it was like this all the time.... maybe without my parents or his parents influencing us all the time plus his friends.... maybe, just maybe, we wouldn´t have divorced.

But... that´s all in the past... it´s already 3 years down the road.... No looking back.... *lolx* just speculating..... xD

Anyways... back to Spring time.....

I have encountered many various types of extraordinary flowers.... some that just blooms only on a specific time and some only at certain places......  For example this white flower with the yellow centre.... apparently, this is known as the Easter flower, that only blooms during Easter time! WOw..... and most of all.. it comes in many colors!!!! This is just one of the few colors that I took....

And worse of all was.... I just forgotten to bring the camera out today when I was out and about together with my daughter!!! *Careless me*

Guess I better keep my camera in my handbag then I wont forget (Though I change bags every time we go out -.-)

Raped by stepdad for 15 years

Finally... after days of being down.... the website to The Star Online newspaper is finally up.... and most interestingly... the first headlines of the day that caught my eye.... a poor girl who has been raped by her stepfather since the age of 11...... and for 15 years long he has been raping and abusing that poor girl repeatedly... and no action was taken even after being reported...

Sometimes I just can´t help but wonder on the safeness of being in Malaysia.... well.. I know it´s a free from War and such country compared to the western world, we are kinda "secluded" in our own strange way and definitely outdated compared to the whole world.... but..... we can´t keep our future generations safe from such morons, such monsters......

Raped by stepdad for 15 years

By RASHITHA A. HAMID

KUALA LUMPUR: After seven abortions and being raped repeatedly by her stepfather since she was a child, a 28-year-old woman fled her home in Kedah.

The victim, who wished to be known only as Zt, said she became her stepfather's sex slave after he first raped her when she was only 11-years-old.

“My mother had no idea of what was happening all these years.

“She only knew when I revealed everything before leaving the house,” she said, adding that her stepfather forbade her to mingle with other people.

“He raped me at our house, in the jungle or at his rented house after fetching me from school,” she told reporters at the office of MCA Public Services and Complaints Department head Datuk Michael Chong here yesterday.

She was accompanied by Umno Youth community complaints bureau head Datuk Muhammad Khairun Aseh.

Still afraid, Zt refused to disclose where she had sought refuge nor divulge her full identity.
Zt said she feared her 58-year-old stepfather would come looking for her.

She had lodged a police report in Penang against the man after running away in December 2008.
“The case was transferred to Kedah but no action was taken against my stepfather,” she claimed.
“He used to threaten me, saying no action could be taken against him as he has friends in the police force,” Zt said, adding that the man would beat her up if she refused his request for sex.

She had had enough after almost 15 years of torture and brutality.

Chong said his department had enough evidence to hand over to Bukit Aman to nab the suspect.

Man beats pregnant wife over food cravings

Today I found another article which is quite heartbreaking..... a man beating up his poor 4 month old pregmant wife just because she has food cravings during her pregnancy......

I guess he must have been a complete idiot, who probably is just "fucking" till he "accidentally" makes his wife pregnant... but don´t wanna "share" the burden of having a child........

Thankfully... when I was first pregnant, my husband never knew about it. I hid my pregnancy well from him... though I doubt he would accompany me much with my food cravings, as he wasn´t even there for me when I went for my monthly check ups with the doctors...... He was either completely busy with his work (he was actually married to his work and not me) or busy with his gaming.... I remember those fights we had when I insisted he accompany me to the doc... which resulted him never going.... though I managed to only persuade him to go with me twice..... even with a black face.... ROFL.....

Ahhhh those good old memories.... painful, sweet, happy and also sad memories *sighs*

Anyways...... here´s sharing the article for you all

Man beats pregnant wife over food cravings

OTHER NEWS & VIEWS

A FOUR-MONTH pregnant woman was punched and kicked by her husband after she asked him to look for two types of “rare” food in the middle of the night.
Harian Metro reported that the woman, aged 28, had developed a craving for various types of delicacies and fruits which were difficult to find.
Previously, the husband, in his 30s, had obliged her requests but this time his emotions got the better of him and he lost his temper.
In the latest incident on Tuesday, the woman again pestered her husband to look for buah kelur and lempuk durian when he returned to their house in Bandar Baru Sentul from work at 11pm.
“The husband blew his top and scolded his wife.
“The couple argued for a good 20 minutes before he lost control of his anger and started punching and kicking his wife,” a source said.
The wife contacted a friend to send her to the Kuala Lumpur Hospital for a check-up before lodging a police report.
Sentul OCPD Asst Comm Zakaria Pagan confirmed the incident, adding that an investigation would be carried out.

Kindergarten co-owner who raped 4-year-old girl gets 20 years jail

By PRISCILLA DIELENBERG

GEORGE TOWN: A Sessions Court here sentenced a 48-year-old kindergarten director to 20 years in jail and to be whipped 10 times for raping a 4-year-old girl at his kindergarten in 2008.
Judge Sitarun Nisa Abdul Aziz found Ewe Peng Lip guilty of rape, saying that his defence was a bare denial and had failed to raise any reasonable doubt against the prosecution's case.
Ewe was tried for raping the girl, who is now seven, at the kindergarten in Bukit Dumbar here between 8.10am and noon on a day between January and April in 2008.
The offence under Section 376(2)(e) of the Penal Code carries a jail term of between five and 30 years, and whipping.
In asking for a light sentence, Ewe's counsel Datuk C.V. Prabhakaran said Ewe was a first offender, was married with three children, and was assisting his wife to run the kindergarten.
DPP Tan Guat Cheng pressed for a deterrent sentence in the interest of the public, saying that Ewe had taken advantage of the victim who was only four and was attending the kindergarten run by him and his wife.
“The victim suffered from trauma, and was still scared when she was giving her testimony. The court should not compromise when it comes to rape cases, especially statutory rape where the victim was only four,” she said.
After Sitarun Nisa pronounced the sentence, Prabhakaran sought stay of execution pending appeal to the High Court.
Sitarun Nisa granted the application for stay but increased Ewe's RM10,000 bail to RM20,000 in one surety.
Ewe was also represented by counsel Moke Yee Yow and Low Meng Chua, while the Women's Centre for Change (WCC) legal officer Karen Lai held a watching brief for the victim and her family.
After the court adjourned, a squabble broke out when Ewe's wife and sister tried to stop cameramen from taking pictures of Ewe.
There was pushing and shoving, and a shouting match which lasted nearly half an hour from Level 7 of the Bangunan Sri Pinang, where the courtroom is located, to the ground floor of the court premises.

A little update ^o^

A little update about our life nowadays....

It´s been 1 month and 15 days since we left our only home, aka homeland, which is Malaysia and traveled 10,000km away to a new land known as Germany in the continent of Europe. We have been through alot through out this 1 1/2 months out here.. adapting not only to the harsh cold weather of winter... although there was no full fledge snow fall in Berlin, the sharp cold wind and the few snowflakes that drop from the sky, which made me come to the realization that snowflakes aren´t little white balls but they are actually star shaped stars falling from the skies! And imagine... no 2 snowflakes are of the same size star!!! Wow!!!!

Alot to take in ain´t it? ^^ I did try to take a close up photo of it early one morning when we left the house at like.... 7am in the morning to make our way to the Immigration office in Berlin...... some 1/2 hour train ride away from home..... Did you know Berlin isn´t such a small town afterall? xD there are like.... millions... or is it billions of inhabitants just in Berlin itself! Wow.......

But I love the public transportations here... they are on time and they are reliable... unlike the ones that we have back home which comes when they like and go on "strike" when they feel like it..... ^^ and.... most importantly everything is reachable via train, tram, subway or even bus!!! So no need to take a cab... let alone drive anywhere.... lolx...... Driving here is expensive. The taxes charged on driving are extremely high, although they don´t have such things as highway tolls or renewable driving licenses or even road taxes...... so I guess it´s the difference there..... though I would say, a lifetime driving license is indeed a desire much more than paying every year to renew your driving license......

We have been around few places in Berlin. I even introduced my daughter to the world of hamburgers and fast food... which she found it extremely interssting although she is still hesitating at times on the Pommes aka french fries.... but... her favourite...... Burger King fried nuggets. Extremely delicious is what she says it is... lolx... Thankfully she´s not demanding it everyday..... Another few favourites of hers..... Spagetthi and pasta... which apparently she loves eating compared to the usual rice that she has back home..... down here we have a variety of German and Italian and many other various types of food. Am still in the learning process of gathering and even cooking german food....

And finally, after 1 month, on my daughter´s 4th birthday, we finally gotten our PR. Hence, after all these things that we have gone through and after obtaining the Pr, now we have to start school for myself, school of German lessons and for Amelia kindergarden to learn and study and mix around not forgetting learning German.
We had our friends who came down to Germany to visit us sometime beginning of March, friends from Scotland.... even Daniel was down for a short 1 week visit although didnt manage to get any photos of him at all. During this short one week that our friends are down, we managed to visit Berliner Dom Chapel, The Berlin Wall (Or whatever that was left of it), Reischtag and etc..... there were many fond memories that was created while we are out and about in this whole month of March that we endured. Fond times we have together with David and Eniko, Sven, Daniel and not forgetting Thomas who came down to Berlin all the way from Tönning, Germany..... Guess you can see more of the photos of all our journey at http://pandafamilie.multiply.com.

That´s bascially where I have uploaded all my memories there, from the time my daughter was born right up to this very day.... All our happy times and last moments we had with the ones we love. Someone once told me, a photo captures moments that sometimes the heart might forget.... You know, for my case, how I wished that my heart will completely forget every single moment that has gone thru in the past. How can a person forget everything that has happened for more than 10 years in just a snap of the fingers but I cant do it?

Back to Topic...... *smacks ownself*

I know one thing I completely miss alot... having attending church, hearing the people singing hymns and God´s praises. Allthough I am not a very frequent church goer, I really miss going to church, really miss talking to God, although somehow Sven doesn´t really believe in the existence of it... ROFL... he has a scientist mind..... but he is a baptisted Protestant..... which is another thing that baffles me... why are there so many "categories" of Christianity? When the important thing is that Jesus is our Lord and Saviour?

Easter is coming up pretty soon... making me miss home... but apparently Easter is celebrated here differently...so can´t wait to see our first Easter egg hunting... lolx.....

Our Daily Journey (ODJ) with God : When God Ran

Being in Germany has its pros and cons, first of...... I couldn´t get my ODJ and ....... surprisingly, I am in the mood of starting to read the bible again.... maybe cos it feels comforting to read the bible, with all that I am going through at the moment..... But... No matter what, I find the time and found myself typing in the address to Our Daily Journey webpage by RBC ministries.

Upon arriving on the page, I found myself with this reading of the day..... When God Ran...... it´s a good reading, and it comforted me alot... makes me realize that no matter how up or down our life is, God is always there, especially in our times of need of someone to listen or silently talk to.....

I hope this reading of the day may lighten up your day as it has enlighten mine...
God bless.....

Straining to see the distant horizon, I squinted my eyes in an effort to catch sight of the person I was waiting for. A thousand thoughts raced through my mind: Does she know where to get off the train? Did she understand my directions? My heart pumped faster as the seconds ticked by. Finally, the person I so wanted to see came into view! In that split second, anxiety was replaced by gladness.
That experience reminds me of the parable of the lost son. The father was waiting for his son’s return. Every day, he would take his vigil at the outpost—looking for the young man he loved. And while the son was “still a long way off, his father saw him coming” (Luke 15:20).

Can you imagine what the father must have been doing to catch a glimpse of the young man at such a great distance? Perhaps he had positioned himself on high ground so that he could see further. Or perhaps he was trying hard to keep his eyes opened despite his weariness.

We don’t know exactly what he was doing, but his efforts paid off. He caught sight of his son while the young man was still far away. And when he saw him, “he ran to his son, embraced him, and kissed him” (Luke 15:20). The father ran.

In those days, running was considered undignified for the family patriarch, but this father was full of unbridled joy. Jesus told this parable to help the religious leaders— as well as us—understand God’s heart for the lost and the joy He experiences when they return.

Do we share our Father’s heart? In Luke 19:10, Jesus states His personal mission statement. He said, “The Son of Man came to seek and save those who are lost.” What distance are we willing to go to see the lost come home to Jesus?

Say Goodbye....

In the years to come
Will you think about these moments that we shared

In the years to come

Are you gonna think it over
And how we lived each day with no regrets

Nothing lasts forever though we want it to

The road ahead holds different dreams for me and you

Sometimes goodbye, though it hurts in your heart,

is the only way for destiny
Sometimes goodbye, though it hurts,
is the only way now for you and me
Though it's the hardest thing to say
I'll miss your love in every way
So say goodbye
But don't you cry
'Cause true love never dies

In a year from now

Maybe there'll be things
we'll wish we'd never said

In a year from now

Maybe we'll see each other
Standing on the same street corner, no regrets

Each and every end is always written in the stars

If only I could stop the world
I'd make this last

Sometimes goodbye, so it hurts in your heart,

is the only way for destiny
Sometimes goodbye, so it hurts,
is the only way now for you and me
Though it's the hardest thing to say
I'll miss your love in every way
So say goodbye (so say goodbye)
But don't you cry
'Cause true love never dies

And when you need my arms to run into

I'll comfort you
Nothing will ever change the way I feel

Sometimes goodbye, though it hurts in your heart,

is the only way for destiny
Sometimes goodbye, though it hurts,
is the only way now for you and me
Though it's the hardest thing to say
I'll miss your love in every way
So say goodbye
But don't you cry
`Cause a true love never dies

Saying goodbye is always the hardest thing to do.... no matter how I say it so many times... No matter how many times I told myself all has ended and its a new beginning, the pain just keeps lingering... Although, like many says, time will ease the pain... but yet... I want it completely erased....
我要永远忘了我对你的爱....

The Sunny Skies

I love our new home...... the windows of the bedroom is facing directly the morning sun.... I love the sun streaming into the bedroom and onto our beds as we lie silently watching tv together on our beds or just reading books together or my baby playing her toys / reading while I am on the lappy working.

Its been 2 weeks now since we touched down in Germany. So many sights we have seen, even the snow we have seen, although not enough to cover the whole streets or to even build a snowman at the moment... but we have been about and around for 2 weeks, and also staying home just enjoying each other´s company for the day.

At the moment, we are coping really fine. Adjusting to the weather (although its hard to bear the cold when we are out and about) and the lifestyle..... although having slight problems with the language still, but we are gradually picking up bits and tads from here and there..... due to listening to people talking, or while grocery shopping etc. Apparently, majority people here barely speak english, although the grown ups do know their english, but upon speaking.... *shivers*.... its just like the Malaysians back home speaking broken english..... *sighs*

Guess I should be proud of the fact my english is not broken! ;)

The month of February is slowly coming to an end... bringing to it a new month with new activities. Amelia will be attending Kindy soon while I too have to go back to school to learn the German Language before starting work once again.... So... that´s when my holidaying with my daughter ends......

2 weeks...... that´s how long I have been out from my old world. Memories seems a distant away now...... Although we web cam with my parents almost every day in the evening (our time). Haven´t heard from him since I last told him about our departure. I sometimes can´t help but wonder if he is alright...... a bad habit, naturally......

Another one more thing bugging me...... I wanna go to church! ROFL..... Still haven´t found a church around here yet, well.... doubt we can.... Until both me and Amelia fully understands German. As they barely have a service in English, I doubt it would do any good attending church for the time being.

*prays silently*

Our Journey to the wide world of Europe

After touching down on Valentines Day in Berlin, Germany....... my daughter and myself have finally spent 1 week all alone without my parents and any familiar faces here in the cold cold winter of Europe...... My daughter... was blasted with the cold cold weather upon touching down in Berlin Tegel Airport at 10am (GMT +1) on this cold cold Valentines Day.. The temperature outside? -2 degrees.... hell even myself was having problems keeping warm upon our touchdown......

Thankfully, Baby had quite a set of warm winter clothes.... hence she isn´t that cold, although her hands were cold, underneath the gloves.... but, she was so beautiful and cute wearing the full winter outfit, I just enjoyed photographing her throughout the first few days we were out venturing around town.... She was completely cold upon stepping out of our new home... but yet... the gleam of joy in her eyes when she runs down the road or run after the pigeons on the streets or the town centre.... amazing seeing the joy in her eyes!

Its difficult taking my daughter out without freezing her to the core.... but apparently, to certain places, she seems to have much more energy... for example... when going to the playground...... omg... she could forget the cold... and run around joyfully in the playground...... but its good to see the rosy cheeks on my daughter´s face...... from the weather and all......

Can´t wait for spring to come though... when the weather isn´t all that cold anymore.......

The Pain of saying Goodbye

As today was the last day of the month, and being working under K.L instead of Selangor, tomorrow is a public holiday (Federal Territory Day) and then following is Chinese New Year already. Many people in office..... today was the last moments of seeing them!

After nearly 4 years (would be 4 in June), saying goodbye to them ain´t easy. There were many of us... whom we have been close friends, chit chatting, going out lunch together and etc...... the sadness of hugging them goodbye, the sadness of telling them....... we won´t be working together anymore... seems so sad and forlorn.....

As I slowly packed and settled and discard all necessary items and bidding my time goodbye to all that are working for the last time today, before they break for chinese new year........ the sadness crashes upon me ever so greatly.....

How is it possible that in life, there are always hellos and goodbyes...... is it such .... a human nature, to always bid another goodbye, to lose someone whom you love ever so greatly, or to just...... not see the one you know or love anymore?

Well..... at least I am now facing the pain, once again, after 3 years of saying goodbye to him... I am now saying goodbye to everyone......
