It has been so long since I blogged.......
Sometimes, life catches up with you and there is nothing else you can do except live life. Already we are in our 2nd year odd we have been here in Europe. Experienced 3 Easters (Upcoming Easter is our 3rd Easter), experienced 3 winters (which unfortunately this year's one is the worse - 6 months long of cold and gloom and snow!), my girl will be experiencing her 3rd birthday here since we touched down too in just a couple of days more. And yet...... from doing all these counting, you´d say..... boy, you haven´t been there long! But yet.... it feels like eternity here for me... slowly and gradually I am forgetting how home is, whats the smell of home, how´s everyone like back home and all. I do still miss them alot - my family and friends especially and even more during festive seasons!
Barely keep in touch with everyone except my parents...... but yet, facebook is a good way of knowing and updating about everyone even without keeping in contact *lolx the irony* which I have been doing alot lately. Kept tabs on the ongoing "politics" of Malaysia which is rather saddening. Makes me angry (thinking how lucky I am still that I don´t bother bout these stuff when I was back home. Imagine.... have to be stressed about being a mother and wife and then stress about some stupid people who were entrusted by the citizens to run the country but ended up after 50 years of ruling becoming selfish, possessive and dumb!) really. But yet they don´t realize their mistake. You know, sometimes travelling around the world opens up your eyes about not only whats happening back home, but also to the reality about how "un-modernize" Malaysia really is! The thinking is backdated, the mentality is so old schooled, and they don´t really embrace changes! Always, while growing up, I hear.... Malaysia is a democratic country and free speech and etc.... but... the sad part is seeing how untrue all these are after moving away! More *somehow not very amusing and pissed* fact is..... there was the saying about how the History of Malaysia is fabricated! Wow!!! Imagine me slogging my damn ass to pass the bloody History papers back home, only to learn that it was just a bunch of bullshit that I have been learning! Amusing aint it?
Dropping the politics tab.... *not something I like to remember as I see distracting news everyday from online news portal to facebook posts*
My little girl is turning 6 this Friday! *Feeling extremely old* She´s growing beautifully, if not making her mummy getting more and more white hair! Like me, she´s gradually forgotten many things about back home, except for just some glimpse here and there (which sometimes I have to tell her again). Either forgotten or just blocking..... guess this only she knows. Sad part is, she remembers more bad things about my ex husband towards us than the good times we had with him. Nevertheless, she´s gradually leaving pre-school this year and going to Elementary School (still waiting for the School acceptance letter - we received the government letter saying she is going Ele School and registered her but now waiting for the school to say yea she´s in that school or no we need to go to another school). Other than a little girl expanding her boundaries or trying to see how far she can go with her parents, my girl is splendidly growing.... Just looking at my archives of photo albums I have of her from birth till now, brings tears into my eyes reminiscing the good old times we had back home......
Wishing I could have another kid to let her have a sibling to play with! *lolx* But... when it happens it happens... no stress :p
Another thing I miss.... reading lolx... barely have time for it at the moment...... and they say full time mummies are relaxing! Guess someone must be reading the "manuals" wrongly hahahahaha or just me thats busy. xD
Looking forward to Summer (Or spring) if it ever comes........
